Swansea Bay Rider Land Train

Step aboard the Swansea Bay Rider this October half-term for a Halloween-themed adventure along Swansea Bay's famous seafront.

Running from 26 to 31 October 2026, the popular land train takes on a seasonal twist with six daily departures from Blackpill Lido, offering families a fun way to experience the promenade during the Halloween holidays.

Visitors are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite Halloween costumes and enjoy a 45-minute journey filled with seasonal surprises and autumn atmosphere. Every child will receive an "I Survived the Halloween Ghost Train 2026" certificate to take home as a souvenir of their trip.

Earlier departures at 2.30pm and 3.30pm are particularly suitable for younger children, toddlers and visitors who may prefer a gentler experience, while later journeys offer a more atmospheric ride as evening falls.

The Swansea Bay Rider includes space for wheelchair users, while guide and service dogs are welcome. Advance booking is essential, with tickets priced at £8.50. Children aged one and under travel free when seated on an adult's lap.
