About Plas Llanelly House

Considered the finest example of early Georgian architecture in South Wales, Llanelly House is a Grade I listed “Welsh Georgian Gem” - the heartbeat of Llanelli town centre. A fabulous Bistro now sits within this magnificent restoration with a wonderful salute to its past. Within these historic walls, glimpse the rich history and scandalous secrets of Llanelli in the 18th and 19th Centuries on one of our Guided Heritage Tours. A thoughtfully re-imagined interior has developed a beautifully unique Wedding Venue and Event Space; the ideal backdrop for a range of exciting occasions such as Tapas Nights and Murder Mystery Dinners. Join us in the daytime for breakfast, an afternoon tea or linger over a relaxing lunch.
The ground floor is free to access but the remainder of the House is exclusively accessible via our Tour Guides. Offering a signature tour, group tours, educational tours and winter ghostly tales tours, there’s something for everyone. Booking in advance is essential. Please note opening hours and tour times, subject to availability. Our Team will be delighted to assist you with any enquiry.

Taking into account every detail of the inventory created by Sir Thomas Stepney himself, this room showcases the beautiful décor of the time and the w
