Cae Main Shepherds Hut

Our single shepherd's hut is set in beautiful countryside boasting stunning views overlooking the Clwydian Range AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

Peaceful and private, Cae Main Shepherd's Hut sleeps two and there is plenty of space to pitch a tent or tents for children, friends or family. Your booking here gives you exclusive use of the site.

The double-glazed French doors and windows let you admire the glorious views from the comfort of inside the shepherd's hut. It is fully insulated and heated by an electric fire making it warm and cosy all year.

The kitchenette features a microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery & crockery (including a lazy pan to fry bacon and eggs etc outside on the firepit/BBQ).

The ceramic sink has hot/cold running water for dishwashing. Hope you adore our vintage baking table as much as we do, with its two upcycled stools to eat inside.

The comfy double bed has a memory foam mattress and special Baavet duvet. Made here in North Wales using 100% British wool, Baavet duvets have many unique properties including breathability, being hypoallergenic, keeping you warm in winter / cool in Summer and promoting a more comfortable and restful sleep. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The shepherd's hut will be stocked with complimentary fair-trade tea and coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and marshmallows to toast on your campfire.

The beautiful larch cladded Amenity Hut is just by your hut and has two bathrooms - handy if entertaining camping guests. Each has a walk-in shower, flushing toilet, hand basin and complimentary handmade soap.

You'll also have your own little lockable shed - 'Cwt' where you can safely store any bikes and equipment, hang any wet jackets and store muddy boots. There's a Belfast sink, bucket and towel provided too for your use, e.g. washing down bikes.

The hut is set in a vast paddock for plenty of fun and games. Our outside area features:
1. Picnic bench for al fresco dining
2. Fire pit / BBQ. Firewood provided (sustainably sourced from on farm fallen branches). Please bring your own charcoal.
3. Tree trunks to sit and cuddle up around the firepit. Toast some marshmallows and taken in dreamy sunsets.
4. There is a sheltered outside area - cute and practical. Tables and chairs, card games, dominoes and festoon lights create a magical scene. We've called this area 'Cwtch' and it was an important feature for us. We want to encourage our guests to embrace the fresh air and outdoors during their glamping experience, and the Cwtch gives that important shelter if the weather's a bit showery or breezy.

We are a working family farm. Sorry no pets due to our livestock.
