About Newborough Heritage Trust - Llys Rhosyr

Llys Rhosyr was a stronghold of Welsh rule in the 13th century. In Anglesey's southwest corner, it is the only medieval court of a Welsh king that you can actually visit, anywhere in Wales and it’s still possible to see the layout of this court of the Princes of Gwynedd, as the ground plan is virtually intact.
