01 – 07 July. The annual festival will be held at the Royal International Pavilion in Llangollen. Six days of music and folk dance from all over the world in one place. This year's Llanfest musical acts include Fratellis, The Coral, Dodgy and The Pigeon Detectives.

Love Trails Festival, Gower
05 – 07 July. Gemau Cymru is a bilingual signature event for young people in the Welsh sporting calendar enhancing the performance pathway of Olympic, Commonwealth and Paralympic sports. It will provide an opportunity for talented young athletes to compete in a high profile multi-sport event while experiencing an athlete village environment.

Tenby Long Course Weekend
05 – 07 July. Pembrokeshire plays host annually to one of the most difficult triathlons in Wales. This unique event kicks off the weekend on Friday evening with The Wales Swim, a 2.4 mile swim that takes place on Tenby's North Beach. On Saturday their attention turns to The Wales Sportive, and 112 miles of undulating Welsh countryside lined with enthusiastic crowds. To finish the weekend, the athletes complete the 26.2 miles of The Wales Marathon.

06- 07 July. The show is visible along the entire five mile stretch of the stunning Swansea Bay with spectacular views of the air displays which features some of the world’s best military and civilian aviation display teams. Ground attractions include an interactive military village, trade stands, children’s entertainment, funfair and lots more.

Llangollen Fringe Festival
19 - 28 July. The Festival includes an eclectic mix of performance based events including punk, reggae, rock, folk, flamenco, poetry, drama, art and film. While main events take place in Llangollen's town hall, boasting a 300 seat theatre, those looking for a different experience can enjoy performances on a narrow boat, steam train, at the ancient ruins of Castell Dinas Bran or in the atmospheric setting of Vale Crucis Abbey.

International Snowdon Race
20 July. The highest peak in Wales and England always provides high drama, as almost 600 runners from across the world tackle the steep slopes of this iconic mountain.

Young People's Village
21 - 26 July. The Young People’s Village is the very best camping and entertainment site for young people during the Royal Welsh Show. The iconic Big Top will host an array of local and national stars, from up and coming Welsh bands to Radio 1 DJs.
Taking place for the 29th year, the event welcomes young people to the site from all over the United Kingdom and beyond. Join over 4,000 campers and 14,000 party-goers as Wales YFC hosts the biggest festival in Mid Wales.

Royal Welsh Show
22 – 25 July. Builth Wells comes to life every summer with the biggest agricultural show in Great Britain. As well as its principal function of showcasing the cream of Welsh livestock and the high quality food and drink produced in Wales, there will be a range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, Sports Village and a 12 hour programme of exciting entertainment that continues throughout each of the four days of the event.

Big Cheese Festival
26 - 28 July. Rediscover The Big Cheese! This year’s new look festival will have a new layout and new feel with Street Food Vendors, Live Lounge Bar Area, THREE Huge Food Halls and Live Cookery Demonstrations.
Caerphilly Castle, the second largest Castle in Britain still remains the star of the festival with free entry all weekend. With an entertainment program that’ll stretch from morning until evening, there’ll be medieval re-enactments within the Castle grounds, live music and a packed program in The Great Hall. The Big Cheese Festival brings together local and regional Welsh food & drink producers in three massive food halls, possibly the largest in the country. With a dedicated cheese market featuring quality cheese producers from all over the country, this really is a food lovers paradise.

The Snowman Triathalon
27-28 July. Plas y Brenin National Mountain Sports Centre, Capel Curig, hosts 'the toughest triathalon in the UK'! The Snowman Triathalon includes the Legend 71.6 half iron race, the two-day Snowman Savage, the Classic Snowman, children's aquathon and open water swimming races.
